Chris F. Hamlin, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 in a local hospital. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Minton officiating. The family will meet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2950 S. Lizella Road, Lizella GA 31052.
Mr. Hamlin was born on March 29, 1929 in Monroe, County to the late Felton and Mabel Hamlin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Hinson. Chris was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and was retired from Robins Air Force Base and Hamlin and Son Flooring. He was a member of AA for twenty seven years. His memory will forever be treasured by all of those who knew “Mr.Chris” and he is loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty one years, Ann Hamlin of Lizella, son, Brad (Lisa) Hamlin of Lizella, daughter, Christy Hamlin-Toland of Lizella, two grandchildren, Dohleah (Donnie) Cranford of Pelham, and Coty Harned of Macon, and five great grandchildren.
