Deanna Faye Hendrix Thompson, 58, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Noon in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Tucker Hall officiating.
Deanna was born in Macon, Georgia to JoAnn Hendrix and the late Jimmy Merrel Hendrix, Sr. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Deanna was employed as a paralegal with George Sink Law Firm. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
Deanna loved to travel to the mountains and beach. There was always time in her life to go shopping and pamper herself by having her nails and hair groomed. She received much joy by being DeDe to her grandpups, Millie and Memphis.
She is survived by her daughter, Avree (Chandler) Dean; husband, Darian Thompson; mother, JoAnn Hendrix; brother, Jimmy Hendrix Jr.; step-sons, Paul (Raegan) Thompson and Peyton Thompson; step-daughter, Morgan; an adopted daughter, Sydney Wright; life long friend, Deena Becham; and fur baby, Zoey.
