Her funeral will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, from 1 PM until 2 PM.
A native of Macon, Mrs. Stancil was born to the late W.O. Swift and Mamie Handy. She lived in Macon most of her life where she was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and worked for Sears, Roebuck and Company for many years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Miles Stancil.
She is survived by her son: Frank Keen and his wife Ellen; two granddaughters: Tracey Alexander (John Alexander) and Stephanie Schaefer (Tyler Schaefer); and great-grandchildren, Austin Knox, Savannah Knox, Hunter Alexander, and Ruth Schaefer; and great-great granddaughter Hadley Knox.
