Mrs. Anderson came to Macon to attend Wesleyan College and she recently attended her 70th college reunion. She married Julian Anderson of Macon in 1948, the year of her Wesleyan graduation. She loved travelling, reading, playing bridge with friends, and dancing.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband who died in 2006, and by her son, Dr. Wayne Anderson who died in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Lewis (Russell) of Macon; and her son, Ron Anderson (Joan) of Ormond Beach, FL; 4 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and lots of Tampa relatives whom she loved dearly.
