Edna Moorhead Norris, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, August 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Wednesday night from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Norris was the daughter of the late Milford and Mae Withrow Moorhead. She was a homemaker and a member of Gilead Baptist Church. Mrs. Norris enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and was passionate about serving others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James Norris; daughter, Karen (Krishnan) Gorur; and sisters, Carolyn Payne and Jeanette (Herman) Jordan.
