

Elaine Ayers Pipkin Harvey, 82, of Musella, Georgia passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3969 Mercer University Blvd., the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in the hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Born in Kathleen, Georgia, Elaine was the daughter of the late James DeWitt Ayers and Winnie Lee Sullivan Ayers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dalton Pipkin, and brother, James P. Ayers.
Elaine graduated from McEvoy High School in 1961 and was a lifelong resident of Central Georgia. She was a member of Rock Springs Church and a retired office manager with Oglethorpe Dental Center, where she worked for over 50 years. She was a proud supporter of the Air National Guard 202nd EIS Family Readiness Program. She dearly loved the members of the EIS squadron.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, George Davis Harvey, III; children: Eddie Dalton Pipkin, Jr. (Melanie); Latrelle Pipkin Smith, and Rick Harvey; six grandchildren: Anna Spivey, Rachel Chewning (Harry), Nicholas Pipkin (Jazz), Trent Smith, Tobe Smith, and Jade Harvey; siblings, Roney Ayers (Gayle); Wayne Ayers (Debbie), and Jeffery Ayers (Marie); and lifelong friends, Margaret Faircloth, Linda Farr, and Reta Smith.
