Rev. Houston Raymond Berry, Sr. 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 23, 2026. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park with Pastor Ronnie Powell officiating.
Houston was born in Spottsville, KY to the late Edgar and Hedwig Berry. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Berry and grandson, A.J. Abrams. He was retired minister from Cheek Memorial Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia. Houston was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Aloma J. Berry, children, Houston (Rhonda) Berry Jr., Cynthia Abrams, Ricky Berry, grandchildren, Jace and Michael, several great grandchildren, brother, Donald Berry and several nieces and nephews.
Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
