James Leon Dominy, age 74, passed on May 29, 2026. A visitation will be held at Snow's Funerals & Cremations at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by A Celebration of His Life at the same location on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:00 am. Rev. Kevin Mills will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Dominy, Jason Dominy, Gary Williams, Mitch Haulik, Anthony Miller, and Corbin Simpson.
Mr. Dominy was born in Dublin, Georgia the son of the late Mildred Warren Dominy and Charles Leland Dominy and was preceded in death by his wife, Vontyne Williams Dominy. He was retired from Georgia Power Company and a member of Northway Church.
Mr. Dominy is survived by his children, James Chadwick Dominy and Jason Kile Dominy (Kayla); grandchildren, Haley Dominy Miller (Anthony), Isabel Marie Dominy, Anthony Jarome Miller, Jr., Corbin Andruw Simpson, and Colin Wade Bailey.
