James "Ricky" Murray, 56, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Woods officiating. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Mr. Murray was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James Thomas and Helen Murray. Ricky was retired from YKK Corporation. He was a member of Christ Chapel and a former member of Windsor Academy Board of Directors. Mr. Murray enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid sports fan. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, Pop Pop and son. He was "The Rock on Earth" for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty three years, Debra Little Murray of Macon, two sons, Robbie (Miranda) Murray and Joshua (Kristie) Murray both of Macon, grandchildren, Riley Murray and Bradley Murray, sister, Teresa Murray and brother, Christopher Murray, father and mother-in-law, Paul (Christine) Little of Macon, sister-in-law, Linda Little, brother-in-law, Paul (Angie) Little of Macon and niece and nephew, Kaylee and Justin Little.
