Jerry Frank Berkner passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 pm until service time.
Jerry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Jerry H. and Mary Long Berkner. He graduated from Lanier High School and later attended Macon Junior College. He served four years in the United States Navy. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad as a conductor. He was a loving Husband, Daddy and Paw-Paw. He loved his family, fishing, hunting and working in the yard.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Cindy C. Berkner; son, Chad Berkner (Sharon); daughters, Wendy Berkner and Tracy Berkner; grandchildren, Taylor (Spencer), Jessy (Gabe), and Payton; great grandchildren, Allie, Rhett, Bentley, and Lainey.
