It’s hard to believe you e been gone 4 years now, I’ve missed you every minute.

I was in USN Boot Camp and A School with Johnny, I was sharing some funny stories about Johnny with my son, I happened to look for him on the internet and found his Obituary, I only knew Johnny for a brief time but always fun memories, my condolences to y'all .

I've been good friends with the family of Trisha and John Battle for many years.  I share so many good memories visiting with them at the home in Lizella, GA over the past 30+ years.  Trisha and John are both missed by so many.

Lizzy and Koban and the rest of the family, I know this has been an incredibly difficult year and I am so proud of how you all came together last Wednesday for John's memorial service.  My friend Janice and I would have loved to be able to visit more at the house when all the friends and family gathered to celebrate their memories.  I've always viewed you all as part of my family as well and look forward to being able to visit and celebrate again for years to come.

I have so many great memories we shared ❤ Our families were always together when kids were growing up. From going to the lake, beach or just hanging at yalls house in the pool. John you were such a good father and raised wonderful children ! I am heart broken that you were taken so young but knowing  you aren't in pain anymore and are in heaven helps. My prayers to the family and especially to Koban and Lizzy love yall !

I met John through my dear friend Holly Holmes. John was so sweet and thoughtful.  I enjoyed spending time discussing all the world's problems and finding solutions.

John will be remembered as the kind person he was. John was so proud of his children and his grandbabies.  God speed to his family as we all lost a great friend.

We will never forget Johnnie's kindness and his warm smile. He was the type of person that could make friends with anyone. He always had an interesting story to tell. Every story included a funny punchline that made you want to hear more! He was the type of person that would give house warming gifts and always happy for your successes. He loved cucumbers and talking about fishing.  He was an animal lover. He played with our dog like she was his own. He was always willing to give great advice and was always willing to give a helping hand.

Lee told me how close you and Johnnie were and he was so proud of both his children and grandchildren.  He is heart broken. When Lee's parent's passed away he was 17. Your daddy and his parent's became Lee's family. I believe the Battle's helped my husband become the man he is today. God Bless.
