Gene was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Harold Eugene and Peggy Turner Causey. He was of the Baptist faith. Gene worked as a car salesman for Subaru of Macon for several years and he enjoyed cars and going to car auctions.
He is survived by his daughter, Christy Causey, grandchildren, Robert Causey, Victoria James, great granddaughter, Tatum James and his sister, Joyce Harris.
