Lucia Aultman Colquitt, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Otis Andrews officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glenwood Hills Baptist Church, 3225 Rice Mill Road, Macon GA 31206.
Mrs. Colquitt was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Culver Roe Aultman and Mary Means Aultman. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Augustus Colquitt, two sisters and four brothers. Lucia was a member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Macon Baptist Association. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children; Dale (Jan) Colquitt of Eatonton, Melba (Sam) Camps of Macon, Lane Colquitt of Columbus, grandchildren; Jimmy (Beth) Colquitt, Joey (Christina) Colquitt, John (Stephanie) Colquitt, Trey Camps (fiancé Nicole Wartko) and Bryce Camps, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent love and care given to Mrs. Colquitt by the staff at Lynn Haven Nursing Home.
