Lucile McMichael Brown

Lucile McMichael Brown, 92, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Forbes officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Second Wind Dreams, 4343 Shallowford Road, Marietta GA 30062.

Mrs. Brown was born in Cork, GA to the late B.T. and Pallie Torbett McMichael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil P. Brown, son, Cecil Brown, and seven siblings. Mrs. Brown was a retired teacher from the Bibb County Board of Education and was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail (Jimmy) Walker of Dunwoody, GA, grandchildren, Ashley (Dake) Madray and Jamie (Jerry) Tassa, great grandchildren, Melloy and Dawson Madray, Pierce and RaleighTassa, sisters, Dot Duke of Jackson, GA, Jenny Kinard of Covington, GA and Pat Zontek of Tallahassee, FL and several nieces and nephews.
