Luther, It's SAD that I can't do this face to face again. Just want to thank you again for being a good close colleague. Your helping me getting through writing some difficult training and maintenance instructions manuals will never be forgotten.

We are so sorry to hear of Luther's passing.   He was known as LL by his family and friends in his younger years.

In honor of my friend, Luther Blalock, I want to share some of my memories of  him. He was a loyal friend. We shared some good memories but also some difficult times. Luther lost his dearest beloved friend Myra Paul and his son Leon Blalock. I also lost my son Chuck Sanders. It is such a blessing to have a friend during these difficult times. 
     Luther was a very knowledgeable man and I remember thinking he was like an encyclopedia.  He enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music and  collecting comic books. Luther was a caring person, a giver, and a person of integrity.  
     Luther is very missed and my biggest sadness is not seeing and/or talking to him before his passing. However, the most important thing is he accepted Jesus before his passing. A TRUE FRIEND will never be forgotten.

Luther was a loving, gentle and kind person that made this world a better place. He will be missed by so many. Our family was truly blessed to have him as a friend for many years. We considered him a part of our family and we always enjoyed the times we were together. We are very thankful that our last conversation with him was about loving each other and that we would see one another again. We know that he is with the Lord now and walking on Streets of Gold!

Such a kind, loving person..  He shared his wisdom and caring to two of my granddaughters, Kaci and Lindsey Paul.  Luther was a special person.

No little girl could ask for a better person to step in and be her grandpa when she lost her very own. You treated Lindsey and I as your own family, and for that we will forever be grateful. You were such a kindhearted and loving person. You always had a smile on your face, and lit up any room you walked into. Your presence will be missed, but now you can dance and sing with Jesus and Meme forever. I love you.

Luther, I cannot say thank you enough for the love you always had for me and my girls!  You had such a big heart!  We will never forget all the things you taught them when they were little.  You were such a precious soul and such a special person to our family.  We will miss you so much!  May you rest in peace now that you are in the arms of Jesus!  I love you, Donna

Luther and I were fellow collectors. I met him at the flea market years ago and we both collected comic books and glass and arrowheads together. We would go to shows in Atlanta and around the middle Georgia area. What a great guy. He will truly be missed.

     Faith,Hope, and Love...the greatest of these is Love...Luther embodied the "Love" part of this verse. Especially to my family. Taking part in all that my mom and children were involved in. Long talks on why the Braves let Freddie and Dansby go to how better to help my mom after she was diagnosed with dementia. No one in the world would go pick up someone from a dementia care facility and take them for a ride and an ice cream or hot dog. That was every day for 4 long years.
     You will be missed my friend...words cant express the loss I'm feeling at this moment...you fought the good fight! Never once did I hear you complain, not one time. God speed Luther...I will see you again! Billy

I had the pleasure of knowing Luther for over 30 years via his passion for comic books. I can tell you than in my 30 years of comic retailing that I’ve never met a more sincere human being- not only in my customer base- but in the entire world. His kindness and honesty were unparalleled. He, singularly, was a paragon of the community and he will be sorely missed. Rest your weary head, Luther. You race is won and I look forward to seeing you again one fine day, old friend. You were one in a million and the world is a lesser place without you in it.
