Margaret J. Doolittle

Margaret Jewel Doolittle, 95, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Margaret Doolittle Howell, Pastor Ed Chambliss and Pastor Rich DeWees officiating. The family will meet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Doolittle was born in Cochran, Georgia to the late William O. and Georgia C. Dye. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Doolittle and sister, Louise Fogg. Mrs. Doolittle was retired from State Court Probation Office of Bibb County after twenty four years of service. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her children, Larry Vinson Doolittle, Sr.(Betty), Sandra Kay Brooks (Danny), Ronald Floyd Doolittle (Phyllis), eight grandchildren, Vinson Doolittle(Trina), Margie Howell (Mark), Alan Doolittle (Lisa), Nancy Odle (Dean), Carolyn Kobek (Ben), Kevin Brooks (Catie), Adam Brooks, Jimmy Doolittle, eleven great grandchildren, Morgan Doolittle, Kyle Doolittle, Cayla Doolittle, Derek Doolittle, Brittany Smith (Casey), Austin Reed, Faith Odle, Will and Walker Kobek, Kaitlyn and Noah Brooks, and one great great grandchild, Alyssa Smith, two brothers, Oscar Vester Dye and Floyd S. Dye and sister, Connie Massey.
