Margaret Rivers Everidge, 93, of Macon died Saturday November 1, 2025. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Sheila B. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the hour of service. The family suggest that those who wish make donations to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, at Scottish Rite, 1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Mrs. Everidge was born in Dalton GA, the daughter of the late Abraham and Ethel Haynes Rivers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lester Everidge Sr., her son: Albert Lester (Bubba) Everidge, Jr., her brother: Abe Rivers and her sister: Louise Hawkins. She was a Past Matron of the Fort Hawkins Eastern Star and a member of The Past Matron’s Club. Mrs. Everidge was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son David Everidge (Vickie) of Macon, daughters: Rosalind Byrd (Henry) of Springfield, GA, Brenda Della Donna (Dennis) of Macon, Connie E. Taylor (W.D.) of Bolingbroke, GA, Theresa Welch (Charles) of Ft. Valley, GA. She is also survived by Sister-in-law Elsie Rivers of Macon, 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren, 7 Great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
