Marion “Buggs” C. Williams, Jr., 78, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 peacefully with his family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Buggs was born in Dublin, Georgia to the late Marion C. and Juanita Southerland Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy A. Wilder and son, Tripp Williams, siblings, Allen Williams, Ricky Williams, Tony Williams and Patsy Williams. He was retired as an electrician with Dry Branch Kaolin. Buggs was a devoted Christian and member of United Community Church. He enjoyed playing golf and was a driver for Sutton Acura delivering cars. Buggs was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Troy (Mary) Williams, Shannon (Charles) Wilder, Kema (Michael) Combes, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Williams, grandchildren, Justin Williams, Trey (Amanda) Williams, Brittani (Louie) Pelt, Camden (Madison) Williams, Dillon (Cassie) Williams, BreHana Williams, Megan Williams, Brandon (Devon) Wilder, Taylor (Rusty) Poole, Emily Combes, Jacob (Kandi) Combes, fifteen great grandchildren, sister, Glenda Ricks and several nieces and nephews.
