
WARNER ROBINS - Mary Anna N. Baker, 101, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 11A.M., Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Baker, wife of the late Percy Paul Baker, was born in Cedartown, GA the daughter of the late Isom and Pauline Lyon Nichols. She was the oldest of twelve children of whom nine preceded her in death. Mrs. Baker was a devoted homemaker and was a charter member of Log Cabin Baptist Church, Macon where she attended faithfully for more than fifty years. She was presently a member of Northside Baptist, Warner Robins.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Baker of Fort Worth, TX; her daughter, Nan Mays of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Polly Pike, Frances Holden, John Paul Mays, Michael Baker and Stephen Baker; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister, Faye Nichols of Atlanta; numerous nieces and nephews.
