MACON – Mary “Joni” Treadwell Hardin, 90, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. James C. Dant officiating. Burial will be private. The family will meet friends from 3 p.m. to service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hardin, wife of the late James Emmitt Hardin was born in Lineville, AL and had lived in Macon most of her life. She loved children and kept Day Care at First Street United Methodist Church for about twenty years. Mrs. Hardin helped to build and was a member of Southside United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death two of her grandchildren, Brad Walsh and Reggie Hardin.
Survivors include her children, James Richard (Martha) Hardin, Jerry Mark (Andy) Hardin and Melissa Hardin (Randall) Gregory; four grandchildren, David Walsh, Jr., Mark Hardin, Stephanie Malandrina and Tyler Wise and a number of great grandchildren.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
