Nina Elizabeth Phillips, 81, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Robbie Kerr. The family will greet friends from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Nina was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Arnold Thomas Archibald and Lois Bridgers Archibald. She is preceded in death by her husband, Malone Phillips. Nina was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by children, Lonnie (Janet) Phillips, Chris (Carlos) Buchammer, Candace “Doodle” (Jim) Turner, Nina Turnbow; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother, Carl (Berlinda) Archibald, and several nieces and nephews.
