My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to all Robin’s family and friends. Robin was always one of the sweetest, kindest, and most loving ladies I have known in my life. Her sparkle will be missed by many, many people. Ride in Heaven my sweet lovely one! With Jesus at the wheel no harm will ever befall you again. We are deeply saddened of Robin's passing.  She always was one of my favorite cousins, and her laughter was just contagious.  It was always a pleasure to talk to her because she could crack you up and have you in stitches.  She loved people and having fun.  She always was talking about her family, and Ron she more than Adored you. She loved Angels, and she certainly has  gained her wings and now is among them. Robin was across the street neighbor of mine back in the seventies. She was little older than my oldest daughter, Tammie. I remember her smile and being just as sweet. I am so sorry to hear about her leaving us so soon.  May the Lord give her family comfort and loving memories  to help them through this time. It saddens me deeply to see the passing of Robin.  Ron we became friends a long time ago.  Friendship happen for a reason. To share your life with another is something special. Robin was such a sweet soul. She welcomed me and Zero with open arms from the very beginning. She always had a smile on her face and a hug for everyone. Her smile truly lit up the room and she did what she could to make you comfortable. She was a true fighter and fought an amazing fight. I know she is in Heaven celebrating with Jesus. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Robin was part of the group of boys and girls I hung around with especially during the summer of 1975......that summer was so special because Robin was a part of it.  She was a vital part of of that crowd. I haven't seen Robin since probably 1976, but I had fond memories of her and the friendship we had formed.   I offer my condolences to her family and friends.  May she rest in peace, and as we say in the sea service: May she have "fair winds and following seas" on her eternal journey with God.

Robin or as I called you, “MEERKAT”; you will truly be missed. You were a wonderful woman with a friendly smile anytime I saw you. Thanks for the memories both in my heart and in the photos you took while we rode together. 

Me and Robin grew up together, If you seen her you seen  me. We hung out together so much that people thought we were sister. I have so many wonderful memories of her and Ron .  I introduce Ron to Robin when we were teenagers never knowing they would be together as long as they were. This is  such a bitter sweet time in my heart. I love Robin and will surely be missed. Robin loved statues of angels. Now she is with them.   She lit up a room with her smile and her laughter. She could do and say the funniest things. Everyone loved her, and she loved them. 
I am so thankful she became my niece and friend when she dated and then married Ron.  Through the years and shared experiences she became one of my closest friends. 
She loved her family most of all. She was a wonderful wife and mother and grandmother.  
We were so blessed to have her. It wasn’t long enough, but I am so grateful for the time we did have her here. 
She was one of the strongest women I know.  And kindest. 
My love and condolences to her family and friends.  She had so many friends who feel her loss with her family. 
She is in our hearts forever.

First met Robin through my brother, Terry. She was such a likeable person and became a friend upon Terry's death. So glad to have know her and Ron. This is hard to believe she is gone at such a young age. She will surely be missed!


I first met Robin one evening when my cousin Ron brought her over to the pool patio at the hotel my family and I were staying at on Riverside Drive when we were still in our teens and she's been part of the family ever since. I associate her with nothing but warmth and kindness and I was honored to have her as a friend. Condolences to her family and friends. And Ron, thank you for bringing her to us and for being her partner for life.

Robin is survived by her adoring husband, Ronald A. Jiles; daughter, Jessica L. Vann (Tony); son, James E. Jiles (Amber). Robin was the proud grandmother of: Ethan G. Vann, Hunter S. Vann and Chase A. Vann. She is also survived by her sister, Linda McClendon; brother, Garry Melvin; and a cherished friend, Sabrina Holcomb.
