Ruth O. Flowers, 89, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Brad Blackmon officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
Ruth was born in Cheraw, South Carolina to Vera Roscoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Flowers and granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Fletcher. Ruth was the owner of Decorate with Flowers Wallcoverings and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Richard A. Flowers of Macon, Roger M. (Debbie) Flowers of Macon, Rita (Bill) Fletcher of Lizella, Raina (Kevin) Lance of Macon, grandchildren, Andy Fletcher, Ashley (Matt) Darley, Tiffany (Corey) McNair, Lorelai (Gus) Proctor, Shad Flowers, Larson Lance, Hunter Flowers, Eli Flowers, great grandchildren, MaKayla Yeomans, Isabella Yeomans, Alaina Yeomans, Shelby Darley, Ronin Yeomans and Blair Proctor.
