Ms. Drew was my third grade teacher at Jos. Neel School many years ago.  This is my 40th year at Stratford Academy.  I still teach my students several of the songs she taught us.  one was "I stuck my head in a little skunk's hole!"  She also told us stories about a bear called Mr. Squish me all Flat but I cannot remember the rest of it.  If you know this I'd love to be reminded so I can share this also.I very much remember the "fun factor" in her classroom. I am 68 years old but can still remember these very special times with her.  I have often wondered about her.  I wish I could have shared my remembrances with her.

Your Mama was so helpful to me in my early years at Minnie Burghard. She loved her Burhard family and I'll never forget the gatherings she would have for us every summer in her home. And George was a BIG PART of that as well. They will both be greatly missed, but I can only imagine their reunion in Heaven and what a celebration that must be!

This wonderful lady taught me when I was in the 2nd grade at Burghard Elementary.  She recently came into the credit union where I work and spoke to her.  She was as kind as she always was.  You were a wonderful lady, and will be missed, Ms Turner. RIP My thoughts and prayers go out to the family!

Janna and Tony, Gena, Jennifer, Dana, Clayton and Mathias...we can only imagine the hurt your hearts are feeling. Big "V", as David always loved calling her, will be missed by so many people. She always made us feel like we were a part of her family..we loved her and Mr. George so much. They were so good to our dear friend, Mike, when he was sick. We have never forgotten the unconditional love they gave him. We will always love them for the love they showed him. May all of y'all find peace in your memories of her in the weeks and months ahead. We love all of y'all!!
