Bill was with Arlene and I for years, in countless places. We love him dearly. See you again, in heaven, good friend Bill. Rest in the arms of our Savior, and save a place for us.

My last voice mails from you began “Hi Susan, Bill here”, so my salutation to you now is “Hi Bill, Susan here”.  I will forever cherish those messages. 
Oh, how we’ll miss you.  I’m very thankful for the visits we’ve had over the years, beginning with our trips as a family to see you in Milwaukee. As a young girl, the anticipation of taking a car ride to a large, interesting city to see you was high, and the memory vivid.  Eating at Marc’s Big Boy, with its larger than life “Big Boy” mascot on the building, is etched in my mind. Joan and I staying with you to attend the Wisconsin State Fair, eating cream puffs all day and seeing my first real concert featuring 3 Dog Night, traveling to Georgia with our parents and Grandma Ziemer in the 70’s, and road tripping to see you in recent years, have all been placed in a trove of precious remembrances you’ve given me.  I can only hope they’ve enriched your life as much as they have mine.  
I’ve loved our conversations where you shared stories of your work, like going to a plant in North Carolina, diagnosing the problem and saving the day.  Holy variable speed drive, Batman!  Stories of business trips to Europe, you being in San Francisco for the earthquake of ’89, Glenn showing up at your dorm at MSOE to visit, you, Dad and Duane clearing a drift in the driveway so Hollis Waldhart could pick up milk, asking if I ever saw Grandpa Z fix a rope and describing how he did it, and you getting up early to milk Grandpa Z’s cows so he could go fishing, are a few of my favorites.
Here’s what I know for sure.  You are a loved and treasured child of God, you’ve brought light to all who knew you through your kind and easygoing personality, and you are deeply loved by your family and others. I pray you felt this love, wholly and completely, while on this earth.    
Goodbye, my sweet brother. Have fun catching up with Mom and Dad, playing a lively game of cribbage with Grandpa Z, and exchanging a hearty lumberjack handshake with Uncle Stub

Hi Dad.  I keep thinking every text I get is you calling to explain what happened and clear all this up.  My best memories are of us walking the tracks around town looking for trains (it was a different time, even just 30 years ago, huh?), and you teaching me what three phase power is.  I also remember hanging out at work, seeing the circuit boards you guys had laying around, and the assembly plant floor.  I'm glad we got to talk last week.  I'm sorry we didn't get to see you more.  We love you, take care.  Hopefully we'll see you again.

So many memories.  I am so sorry for the passing of BJ.  He knew how to have a good time.  We loved our visits to Macon.  He was always  welcoming and ready to show a good time.
