Yvonne H. Rice, age 74, passed away after a brief illness on September 7, 2010. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time.
Mrs. Rice was born in 1936 to the late Mable Kilby Myers. She had lived in Tennessee most of her life, before moving to Macon. Mrs. Rice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ronnie W. Rice, Sr. and a son, Tony Keith Rice.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronnie W. Rice, Jr. of Macon, Greg (Brenda) Rice of Macon; five grandchildren, Amber Rice, Calaylah Rice, Ronnie W. Rice, III, Michael Todd Rice and Christopher Hufstetler; one brother, Ernest Kilby, two sisters, Wonnave Fancher and Brenda Kilby.
