Andrew Kit

Andrew Kit, of Marblehead, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late B. Dolores Kit. Devoted father of Bonnie Kit of Marblehead, Lori Snodgrass and her husband Marty of Kirkland, WA, Pat Pollard and her husband Jay of Marblehead, Mary Kit of Sacramento, CA, and Bill Kit of Kirkland, WA. Loving grandfather of Robert Cope, Heather Cope, Kate Turner, Cameron Wolfsen, and Maggie Reese. He was a great-grandfather to Hailey Cope and Brennan Turner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Sandwich East, Ontario, Canada, Andrew graduated from the Detroit Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from Badger Engineers, Inc. in 1993, after a long and successful career. Prior to Badger, he was with Chas. T. Main, Inc., and Stone & Webster. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. At the request of the family, services were private.
