Bob Tucker

December 22, 1958 – September 19, 2024

MARBLEHEAD & HAVERHILL, MA - Robert Emerson Tucker, 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, September 19th after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Bob grew up in Marblehead where he graduated from Marblehead High School, class of 1977. Bob attended his last high school reunion and enjoyed connecting with all his old friends and classmates. Before retiring, Bob worked as a machinist at Tucker Engineering Inc. in Peabody for 42 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman often enjoying fishing, boating, and going on camping trips. In his spare time Bob often enjoyed working on carpentry projects, going to concerts, playing slot machines down at Encore, and spending time with his cat, Preston.

Bob was the dear son of Barbara L. Tucker, of Minneola, FL, and the late Franklin A. Tucker, of Marblehead. Bob was the beloved brother of Don Tucker and his wife, Tina, of Beverly; Sandra Abbott, of Minneola, FL; and Jeff Tucker and his wife, Donna, of Minneola, FL. Bob is survived by his daughter, Kellie Sellers, her husband, Bill, and their son, Max, of Swampscott. In addition, Bob was the beloved uncle of Michael Tucker and his wife, Andrea, of Peabody; Derek Abbott, his wife, Michelle, and their children Owen and Everly, of Wakefield; and Tyler Tucker & Neana Tucker, of Alabama.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead 142 Elm Street. His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10:00 a.m. starting at the Eustis & Cornell and concluding at Waterside Cemetery, 294 W Shore Drive, Marblehead.
