Bruce Martin Lackey

Mr. Bruce Martin Lackey, 69, a lifelong resident of Marblehead, passed away Friday evening, May 20, 2016 at the North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital in Salem. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Church) Lackey and the dear son of the late Donald P. and Barbara (Martin) Lackey. Bruce was a graduate of Marblehead High School and continued his education by earning his Bachelor’s degree from North Shore Community College in Beverly.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during Vietnam as a member of the United State Air Force.

Bruce had been employed as a Test Technician for the Analogic Company for over thirty years.

In addition to his wife, with whom he shared forty-three years of marriage, he is survived by his sister, Dawn Lackey of Wenham and two brothers-in-law, Carlton Church and Ralph Church both of Marblehead.

His Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11 AM at the Dr. Arland A. Dirlam Chapel in Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue Salem, MA 01970. Arrangements by Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead.
