Aunt Betsey was always so warm, welcoming, and generous to me when I would join the extended family for holidays in MA. She was a wonderful mom and grandma, and I feel so lucky to have known her.

Here is a beautiful picture of Betsey with her husband (Peter), her son (Jeff), and her sister-in-law (Deanna Goode) at Trip and my wedding/commitment ceremony in Vermont in summer 2013. I’m so glad Betsey was a part of our special day.

We will miss you, Aunt Betsey. Rest easy.

I am so sad to read about the death of Betsy Foss Dinsmore. We were friends all through our days together at Gerry School and long after. I spent many nights at her family home at Ft. Sewell and we played almost every afternoon at the Fort, many times with friends Harry and Bill. I skied in Tuckerman’s Ravine with her and family and was never so scared! I saw her most recently at our MHS 60th reunion and we had a great time catching up. It is sad to lose long time friends and I send my condolences to Pete and the family. I know how much she will be missed.
Best wishes, Lydia

Betsey was so lovely and caring. I never heard an unkind word pass her lips. We had many a good laugh over the bridge table. Condolences to the family that she loved so well
