
Larry was born in Malden, MA in 1937 and grew up in Malden where he graduated from Malden High School, and is a member of the Malden High School Sports Hall of Fame. He then attended the University of Miami, where he was an accomplished football and baseball player graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Education. He later graduated from Salem State College with a Master of Science in Education and Administration and Guidance.
Larry was the youngest of Francisco DiGiammarino and Margaret (Ciaraldi) DiGiammarino’s five children.
Larry is survived by his three children Lawrence J. DiGiammarino, Jr., Edward DiGiammarino and Susan Magnet, his eight grandchildren, his brothers Robert and Frank and many nieces and nephews.
Larry requested a private service. Donations in Larry’s name may be made to The CMT Foundation at the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies116 Market Street, Suite 4, Johnstown, PA 15901 to help find a cure for this inherited neurological disorder.
