Leon Louis Pappas

Leon attended the Star of the Sea School, Marblehead Junior and Senior High School, and was a graduate of Essex Agricultural Institute. He was a member of the Armed Forces having enlisted in the United Sates Air Force. Leon was a jack of all trades throughout his adult life working at many occupations. He enjoyed shooting darts and playing cards with his friends as well as being an avid reader.

Leon is survived by a sister, Julie Chamovich and her husband Seymore, a sister, Linda Antonio and her husband Charlie all of Byfield, and a brother, Robert Pappas and his wife Claire of Marblehead. He is also survived by nephews, Jason, Tommy, and David Chamovich, and nephews, Christopher, and Kyle Gordon, and Stephen Pappas. He was also the uncle of the late Amanda Antonio Foote.

A graveside service will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery, 140 Lafayette Street, Marblehead on Wednesday, August 28 at 11AM. All are welcome. Visiting hours will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Tuesday from 4-7PM.
