Mark E. Tufts

LYNN, PEABODY & MARBLEHEAD - Mark Edward Tufts, age 64, of Marblehead and formerly of Peabody and Lynn, died Monday, May 18th, 2026 in Mass General Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer. He was raised in Peabody, the husband of Darlene (Richardson) Tufts, and the son of the late Blaine & Carolyn (Spofford) Tufts. Mark worked as an electrical foreman for 28 years, and was passionate about classic cars, his dogs and riding his motorcycle. He was also an avid carpenter and was able to build just about anything-including a rocking motorcycle for his grandson. Mark is survived by his wife of 37 years, his son Timothy Tufts in the army, Christopher Tufts of Ohio, his daughter-in-law Abbigale (Drosdik-Cole) Tufts and their son Frederick. He also leaves his daughter, Jamie Rowe of Portsmouth, NH and her two children, Lily and Matthew. He was the brother of the late Dexter Tufts and Susan (Loring) Vaughn.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street.
