
Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Nellie (Hooper) Martin. She graduated from Marblehead High School and lived in Marblehead early in her life. She moved often with her family, until they settled in Danvers where she lived for most of her life. For the past ten years she resided with her son and his family in Groveland, Ma.
Priscilla was an artist and graduated from Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, after which she taught childrens’ art lessons at her home in Danvers. Her legacy will continue in those students whom she taught . She also instilled an appreciation for the natural beauty around us, in both her son, and grandchildren.
She leaves one son, Christopher F. Hatt and his wife Robin of Groveland, two grandsons Collin and Jacob Hatt of Groveland, a cousin Roland “Sandy” Martin and his wife Helen of N.Y., and a close friend Cindy Malia of Peabody.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Dr. Arland A. Dirlam Chapel, Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at 1PM, followed by burial in the family lot in Waterside Cemetery.
