Scott L. Colabuono

Born to Dolores and (the late) Theodore Colabuono, Scott grew up in Joliet, IL. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nijole Colabuono, and children: Peter Colabuono, his wife Grace, their son Gabriel; and his daughter Marisa Colabuono and her husband Henry. He is also survived by his mother and his two brothers, Alan and Gary Colabuono. Last, but not least, he leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Sam and Figgy. Prior to his retirement, Scott was the CEO of Fantastic Sams Hair Salons, after a long career in finance.

Scott treasured his family and friends and was a caring and generous person who was loved by many. He was especially fond of the water, and loved splitting his time between Marblehead, MA and East Pond in Smithfield, ME. He will always be remembered.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Scott’s memory to the Marblehead Animal Shelter, 44 Village Street, Marblehead, MA 01945 or via www.marblehead-animal-shelter.org or to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970 or via www.northeastanimalshelter.org. Arrangements are under the care of Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead.
