Ann Fischer

She was born February 27, 1944 in Macomb to Lowell and Aneva (Brake) Nighswonger. Ann lived in and supported the Marengo community for more than 40 years. During that time she spent more than 20 of those years working at Marengo Tool & Die. She retired in 2009 to enjoy a quieter life. She was a proud mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Darren (Tracy) Fischer; her grandsons, Jack and Luke; her nephews, Scott (Michelle) Perry and Darrell Utter; and her great-nephews and niece, Drake, Kamrynn, and Gavin Perry.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Perry.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm on Thursday, July 9 at Zion Lutheran Church, 408 Jackson St., Marengo. A brief memorial service will begin at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran School (c/o Tuition Assistance Program).
