Betty June Noble

She was born June 22, 1923 in Sharon, Wisconsin to Roy and Sara (McMullen) Grant. On March 9, 1955 she married Glenn C. Noble in Elgin.

Betty was a licensed cosmetologist and sole proprietor of the Blue Bird Beauty Shop in Elgin for 57 years. She opened Chevelle’s Bar & Grill in Union with her son, Doug, in 2010. Most of all she was proud of her son and grandsons, they meant the world to her.

She is survived by her son, Doug (Kristi) Noble; her grandsons, Douglas J. Noble and Caleb C. Noble; sister, Lucille Huebner; and many nieces and nephews including , Sandy Anderson and Dick Ellingson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; her parents; her sister, Bernice Ellingson and infant sister, Virginia.

Visitation will be from 10am to the Noon funeral service on Saturday, March 24, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo.

Interment will be in Dundee Township Cemetery.
