Chris E. Hamblin, age 54, of Belvidere, Illinois passed on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Chris was born December 26, 1967 to Patrick and Bette (Schroeder) Hamblin. He enjoyed playing fantasy football and was a big fan of NASCAR.
Chris is survived by his parents, sisters Sally (Doug) Hansen, Anne (Jerry) Napadow-Runowiecki, Patricia (Russell) Powell, and Pam (Jeff) Barrett, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Larry Hamblin.
Visitation will be held on April 18, 2022 from 4 to 8 pm at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo, IL 60152. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unicef Relief for children in Ukraine at www.unicefusa.org.
