He was a member of the Harvard Moose Lodge and enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by his son Jeremy (Mary) Hopper, two grandchildren; Austin Roddewig and Hailey Hopper, father Wayne Hopper, sister Karen (Phil) Cook, brother Keith (Donita) Hopper, nieces and nephews; Greg (Amy) Cook, Shelley (Mark) Madley, Brian, Mike, and Jill Hopper, and many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Jeanette, his grandparents Milton and Florence, who passed away at age 106.
Friends may visit from 9 am until the time of service at 11:00 am on Saturday February 5th at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St. Marengo. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the church. Online condolences visit www.marengo-unionfuneralhome.com.
