Harold F. Wright

He was born June 8, 1923 in Belvidere, IL to Fay and Millie (Miner) Wright. He married Shirley Wells in 1946 after serving in the Navy during WWII.

He worked as plumber and a farmer in Marengo, and was a member of the Shriners. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Jim (Tammy) Wright, Nancy (Brent) Baldwin, Mary (Rod) Seyller, and Linda (Todd) Seyller; thirteen grandchildren, Theresa, Jon, Jeff, Cari, Matt, Matthew, Nathan, Michelle, Bryan, Chuck, Dan, Scott, Katy; thirteen great-grandchildren; and his brother, Chuck Wright.

His was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Shirley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11 from 9am to 11am at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy, Marengo. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 11 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in McHenry County Memorial Park.
