James L. Neuman

He was born May 25, 1945 in Waukesha to Lester and Mabel (Foster) Neuman.

He was a member of the Kiwanis when he resided in Marengo and was the owner of Neuman’s Grocery in Union for many years. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed babysitting his grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Dawn (Brian) White, Mary (Sean) Stratton, David (Patricia) Neuman, Thomas (Carla) Neuman, and Sarah Neuman; his grandchildren, Holly (Andrew), Tiffany (Sean), Adam (Kelly), Jennifer (Curtis), Aaron, Chelsea, Hope, Brianne, Thomas Jr., Eric, Shawn and Austin; his great-granddaughters, Alivia, Savannah, Autumn, and Bella; his father, Lester; his partner, Pat Bahen; his sisters, Pat, Gloria, and Elizabeth; and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany, and his mother.

Visitation will be from 12:30pm to 2pm, with the memorial service to follow on Thursday, May 24, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo.

Interment will be private.
