NELL ANN GRON, 76 MARENGO – Nell Ann (Rauworth) Gron, 76, ofMarengo died Monday, April 16, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born Nov. 24, 1935, in Dekalb, to Herbert and Veronica (Jodeikus) Rauworth. Married Rudolph “Rudy” Gron on Jan. 28, 1956. A devoted wife and a loving mother, she was a former Girl Scouts Troop Leader and member of Marengo United Methodist Church, where she started the United Church Hats Ministry. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Rudy Gron, daughters, Jean L. (Tim) Shafer, Jerri L. (Ron) Carel and Linda A. (Dan) Resenbeck; 7 grandchildren, sister, Florence Rauworth, brothers, Herb (Sharon) Rauworth and Harry (Maryann) Rauworth.

She was preceded in death by her parents

Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Marengo United Methodist Church in Marengo. Burial will be private. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to service time.
