Sharon J. Lockhart

She was born June 22, 1938 in Rockford to Bert and Phyllis (Rausch) Johnson. On December 16, 1971 she married George Lockhart in Rockford.

Sharon lived in the Marengo area most of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marengo. She enjoyed bowling, antique car clubs, and she especially loved her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, George; her children, Deborah Lashbrook of Rockford and Thomas (Leea) Lashbrook of Porter, TX; her step-children, Gary Lockhart of Poplar Grove and Gregg Lockhart of Marengo; and her grandchildren, Kyle O’Brien, Kaitlyn O’Brien, Scotty Lashbrook, and Payton Lockhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and June Johnson, and Phyllis and Don Clevenger; and her uncles, Jack and Gary Rausch.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Friday, February 21 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. The service will be at 11am on Saturday, February 22 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
