I remember Jimmie telling me when he lost his Dad that his father was his John Wayne.  Jimmie is a lot like his father -- He too has the characteristics of John Wayne.  He will be sadly missed.

My sincere condolences to you Nita for the loss of your beloved Jim. He was a gentle soul and I was blessed to have been able to call him my friend. He was always there for me and I will have an emptiness in my heart now that he is gone. My great memories of him will always remain. Thank you for posting these great pictures of him.
