Annette Crawford Kouba

Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Kouba was born in Miami, Florida and was an educator with Marietta City Schools for 28 years. She spent time at Hickory Hills Elementary, Marietta 6th grade Academy, and Marietta Community Schools. During her tenure, she impacted so many students’ lives. Years later, she often saw students out in the community with whom she had worked and they always said how much they liked her. She also made many wonderful friends with her colleagues and she knew many of them for over 40 years. Many of her friends became more like family to her.

Mrs. Kouba is preceded in death by her husband John Kouba, mother Frances Rucks, and brother-in-law Logan Nichols. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Laurie and Keith Strickland of Marietta; sister Bernadette Nichols of Sebring, Florida; and several nieces. Mrs. Kouba was also blessed with 3 wonderful granddaughters-Anna, Abby, and Ally- whom she absolutely adored.

The family will receive friends at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave. NW) on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 5 until 8 PM.
