Brenda Joyce Meers, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Funeral Services for Mrs. Meers will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hiram, GA at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 11:00 until the hour of the service.
Momma Joyce was a foundation of love that elevated so many, so incredibly high and was always there to catch anyone when they fell. She often remarked that her kids were her life and the source of her greatest pride. She leaves behind 3 generations nurtured on her love and compassion. Momma Joyce will be missed immensely.
Mrs. Meers is survived by her children; Rita Boyd, Beverly Shaffer, Craig Meers, Barbara Sword (Mark), and Jason Meers, her sisters, Patricia Gravitt (James) and Mitzi Williams (Thomas), five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in Lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Meers’ honor to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hiram 205 Pace Road Hiram, GA 30141
