Charles Howard Waldroop

He was the son of Grady and Nannie B. Waldroop. He was married to Betty Chastain Waldroop and retired from the US Army with 22 years of service. After retirement, he worked with Piedmont Baptist Church and Marietta Alliance Church in Marietta, Georgia. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church and The American Legion. He loved reading and listening to music. He most often shared funny stories with his friends and family. He loved to laugh and had a sharp wit about him.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Waldroop, son; Derek (Elizabeth Benedit) Waldroop of Pensacola, FL, grandchildren; Matthew Waldroop and Elena Waldroop of Woodstock, GA, and his brother, Mickey (Charlene) Waldroop of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park on Friday, July 7 at 11:00am with Dr. Ike Reighard Officiating.
