Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with Rev. Joshua Denard officiating. Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Mr. Jackson was a WWII veteran. He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a Mason for 50 years and a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel P. Jackson; three daughters, Janeice J. Long, of Cartersville, Joyce J. Denard (Melvyn), of Marietta, JoLynne O’Reilly (Vincent), of Cumming; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, four brothers; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Donnie L. Jackson, Joel Jackson Sr., and Marvin Jackson.
