A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with Dr. Sam Matthews, Rev. Elaine Wilder, and Rev. Brian Smith officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Martin; son, John Martin II and his wife, Mary Ann; daughters, Meredith Gay and her husband, Brian, Melissa Haraszti and her husband, Chris; seven grandchildren, Ritter, Tabitha, Drew, Paulina, Will, Lindy, and Katy; one brother, Donald Martin and one sister, Sandra Zytko.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marietta, 56 Whitlock Avenue SW, Marietta, GA 30064
Burial arrangements under the direction of Kennesaw Memorial Park.
