Preceded in death by her husband JG Pickering, she is survived by her 2 children, Mike Pickering and Susan Pickering Micevych as well as grandchildren Matt Pickering, Amy Pickering, John Micevych and Paul Micevych.
She was an educator for many years at Westside Elementary school in Marietta and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and volunteer at school as well as at the First United Methodist Church in Marietta.
Visitation will take place 5-7pm on Thursday June 30 at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, and the funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday July 1 at First United Methodist Church in Marietta.
